报告摘要:
Understanding the connection between stars and their planets is essential for revealing the processes that govern stellar interiors and shape planetary systems. High-resolution stellar spectroscopy enables precise measurements of the chemical compositions of planet-hosting stars, offering insights into stellar evolution, planet formation, and conditions for habitability. This talk will present results from large ground-based telescopes and dedicated programs, including abundance studies of solar twins, solar-type stars, binaries, and clusters, along with their planetary systems. These abundances trace stellar internal processes, reveal abundance patterns linked to planet formation, and provide a consistent framework for comparing stellar and planetary compositions. Advances in observational facilities and statistical methods are driving a more integrated view of star–planet chemical connections, highlighting current challenges and pointing to future opportunities.
主讲嘉宾简介:
Qinghui Sun is currently an associate research professor at the Tsung-Dao Lee Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. From 2021 to 2024, she was a Shuimu postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University. She received her Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Indiana University in 2021 and her B.S. in Astronomy from Nanjing University in 2015. Her research focuses on stellar properties and planet–star interactions, with extensive use of large telescopes.
