报告题目：The recent results and prospect of Parkes Pulsar Timing Array project

　　Abstract：The Parkes Pulsar Timing Array project (PPTA) aims to make a direct detection of a gravitational wave background through the timing of millisecond pulsars. In my talk, I will describe status of the Parkes Pulsar Timing Array project, present recent results of PPTA including identify irregularities in terrestrial time standards, determine the mass of the Jovian system, study the interstellar medium and place the most stringent constraint to date on the existence of gravitational waves from supermassive binary black hole systems. I will also discuss future plans for our project and show how our data sets can be used for numerous other astrophysical purposes such as methods to navigate spacecraft through the solar system.
