报告题目:No superluminal jet in the tidal disruption even Sw J1644+57
摘 要:Swift J1644+57 is the first transient that is broadly believed to have a relativistic jet launched by the tidal disruption of a star. The model of the relativistic outflow successfully explains the extremely high luminosity, the spectral energy distribution, the X-ray variability, and the evolution of its radio spectrum. To provide the most direct constraints on its apparent outflow speed, we have started a series of high-sensitivity EVN observations of the transient source at 5 GHz. Our current preliminary results show that there is no superluminal jet in Sw J1644+57 with respect to an in-beam calibrator (FIRST J1644+5736, 2.8 arcmin away).
